  • We're thinking about moving to Texas (close to Decatur). It may be one year or five years, but we're still planning on it. The only thing I know is that Texas has no state income tax. (We live in Oklahoma currently). We're probably going to either move our trailer there or sell this one and buy another. What's the story on cost of living down there? Thanks.

  • My dog loves to run and play--and I am a runner myself, and I would like him to be able to run beside me so I dont have to leave him in the house when I go for a run---the reason I have to leave him right now is because when I try to let him run beside me he thinks we are playing and he jumps all over me and tries to chase me and then gets nippy and mouthy with me. I need to keep him on a leash. I used to have 2 dogs who would run beside me no problem. But I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on how to get him to run beside me or at least with me, without him thinking it is a game?

  • Looking for your best example of twisted statistics (either in the press, research, advertising, etc.) to sell a point. For example, I hear a lot of things in the press where reporters say some medication doubles your risk of getting cancer or something, even if it doubles your odds of getting it from one in 10 million to one in 5 million. It's like saying leaving your house increases your risk of getting killed by a falling meteorite by 500 percent. Anyone else got any good examples?

If I treat it as leather, but it's not, will the leather treatment products harm the bycast leather? We were told that it was leather trim when we purchased the couch, but have since seen one just like it online that says it is bycast leather.

  • Ok so my 1 year old son does not like to hold his own sippy cup. Actually, he can not figure out that he needs to hold it UP to get the milk. He wants to lie down with the sippy cup. I want to switch him off of formula on to cow’s milk at the same time. I don’t know how to get him to drink out of the sippy cup so he can drink the cow’s milk. Can anyone help me with both of these transitions?
  • I have just brought a kitten who is now 8 weeks old. He was litter tray trained and used the one we still use now all the time. However over the last 2 days when it is bed time he doesn’t use the tray. Last night he pooped on the doona cover and this morning wee-ed in his bed.
