This ceramic tray is the floor for the oven, and has a rubber strip around the edges. I’m afraid to remove the old cracked tray since it is in 3 large pieces. Is there something important under it that can be damaged if one of the pieces touches it? After removal of the damaged tray, can I just set the new one in place without any extra adhesive or caulking?
