  • Hi everyone, I just became a Roman Catholic recently and I am interested in using a cilice or whip to corporally mortify myself. I really need a good flogging, but I can't wait to feel those metal spikes cutting into my flesh and driving out Satan. My doctor said I shouldn't whip myself and wear the cilice at the same time, so I have to choose. Which is better for a beginner?
  • I recently became a citizen, and now I would like to sponsor my parents and my brother for family based green card. The problem comes as my oldest brother who is older than 21 and is mentally disabled, and dependent on my parents. Now if I apply for my parents and my brother, my parents will get approval much quicker than my brother. My brother can't stay alone and needs to come with my parents. What should I do in this circumstances ? Any ideas or exceptions are there by which they can all come together ? Would adoption of my brother be a solution ?

  • I am looking into buying a new fishing rod and the two options are either a 5'10 rod or a longer 6'6 rod, i usually just fish the detroit river and i do many different styles from casting to trolling to jigging and pretty much anything that's working. but i would like to know what the advantages of getting the shorter rod would be and what the advantages of getting the longer rod would be, also please let me know any disadvantages either might have, they are the same brand same price same everything except for the length, both are even medium action.   • My son is allergic to milk and I usually simply replace milk by soy or rice milk. However, the recipe I wanted to say we should put vinegar in the milk first. I supposed this is to make the milk curdle? Will that work if I use soy milk? Should I use soy yogourt instead?

  • Ok so my 1 year old son does not like to hold his own sippy cup. Actually, he can not figure out that he needs to hold it UP to get the milk. He wants to lie down with the sippy cup. I want to switch him off of formula on to cow’s milk at the same time. I don’t know how to get him to drink out of the sippy cup so he can drink the cow’s milk. Can anyone help me with both of these transitions?
  • I have just brought a kitten who is now 8 weeks old. He was litter tray trained and used the one we still use now all the time. However over the last 2 days when it is bed time he doesn’t use the tray. Last night he pooped on the doona cover and this morning wee-ed in his bed.
