  • The type of ants making my life miserable right now aren't interested at all with sugar, or water. They go after meat type foods and greasy things. Right now, I'm watching them gang-tackle a tiny piece of a corn chip. At least I know what to use for bait now. I want to make sure to get the correct ingredients when I go to the store in a few minutes. The other day, I got a lot of reccomendations for boric acid to mix up an effective poison for them to take back to the nest. Is this correct for the corn-chip type ants? I've already seen them go right past other types of poisons I've tried.
  • The last whale bone to be placed on top of this extinct volcano was erected in 1933 and was removed in 2005 after rotting away. A Fibreglass replica of this bone has just been put in place, modelled on the original bone. But from what type of whale did this bone come?

  • My insurance called me yesterday and informed me that they would be cancelling my insurance because I have rented my house to a group of students. They gave me two weeks to find new insurance before they cut me off. I'm having trouble finding someone who will insure us. If they cut my insurance, my bank will cancel my mortgage, and I guess that means I'd lose the house. Is this insurance company allowed to drop me in this manner. When we got the insurance two months ago there was nobody living in the house, but it was rental insurance. We never lied or anything, we were completely honest through the whole process.

  • Ok so my 1 year old son does not like to hold his own sippy cup. Actually, he can not figure out that he needs to hold it UP to get the milk. He wants to lie down with the sippy cup. I want to switch him off of formula on to cow’s milk at the same time. I don’t know how to get him to drink out of the sippy cup so he can drink the cow’s milk. Can anyone help me with both of these transitions?
  • I have just brought a kitten who is now 8 weeks old. He was litter tray trained and used the one we still use now all the time. However over the last 2 days when it is bed time he doesn’t use the tray. Last night he pooped on the doona cover and this morning wee-ed in his bed.
